What about size?

Q
What about size?
A
We offer one size baby sling at both our retail and online shop. The regular slings fit most people, both mothers (up to around 175cm/5’7″ & 65kg/143lbs.) and fathers because even if father is larger, he doesn’t need the longer tail for breastfeeding cover.
Our slings can be adjusted to fit wearers and babies. If you are petite the tail may be a little longer, and if you are tall the tail may be a little shorter, If the tail has enough length (at least 12in./30cm) hanging beyond the ring, thereis no danger that the slips through the rings.
We provide made-to-order service accoring to circumstances, so any of the slings can be adapted to suit the customer’s height and weight. Please contact us for a special order.

What can I do with the tail?

Q
What can I do with the tail?
A

The long tail of P-slin gis not only beautiful to lock at but also very convenient.
But again, its primary purpose is to provide a shield during breastfeeding. If you put its long tail on your shoulder, it becomes a “privacy screen” when you breast-feed.

You can also use it for sun-protection, wind-protection, AC-Protection, or as a blanket for a baby.

But when you don’t want the tail to be dangling, you can just wrap it around the ring.

How do I breast-feed my baby in my P-sling?

Q
How do I breast-feed my baby in my P-sling?
A

For breast-feeding, the cradle position is the best holding style. However, you can not simply breast-feed “hands free.” You must raise your baby (with one hand) near your breast. With another hand, you can pull the edge of the pouch and guide a baby to the breast. When you get used to it, you can put a hand-towl under your breast, and adjust the position.

P-sling has a wide pouch so you cna completely shield your baby from the outside. Also you can use the tail for sun-protection, wind-protection, or to shiedl the breast from others when breast-feeding in public.

How do I wash my slings?

Q
How do I wash my slings?
A

While the best method is hand-washing, P-sling is still machine-washable.
When you use a machine, put the sling in a laundry net and choose the delicate cycle. Please use a neutral detergent (one for delicate materials like silk.) Please do NOT use a dryer. Hang wet sling to dry. (It takes time to dry completely because of 8 layers of cloth on the shoulder portion.) Please be aware that cotton tends to discolor more than linen.

Is it healthy for my shoulder and back?

Q
Is it healthy for my shoulder and back?
A

Yes, you can share the same sling with your husband. The sling is adjustable for the size of all wearers. However, you need to be careful with the P-sling tail when your husband wears the sling.

Please make sure that there is enought tail (at least 30cm) hanging beyond the ring because there is the danger that a tail slips through the rings.

How safe are the rings?

Q
How safe are the rings?
A

Our rings are join-less metallic. They are carefully created by a process of “melting-down” to make rings for sling use only. There is no need to worry about unnecessary slipping. When you put the baby’s weight on the sling, the two rings lock together and grip the fabric securely. Therefore the ring part doesn’t move.
Of course, we carefully selected metal ingredients and use anti-bacterial materials for the rings, so there is no possibility of mold or discoloration.
Every model of rings passes durability tests with more than 2,000kg.
